Our Housing Appeal for Orphans & Widows

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
“Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Resurrection.” [Sahih Muslim]

Why housing is essential?

In regions devastated by war and natural disasters like earthquakes, a stable home becomes the difference between survival and suffering. Families who have lost everything face the harsh reality of homelessness, with no protection from the elements and no safe place to call home. Some may have a small plot of land or a damaged home, but the overwhelming financial burden makes it impossible for them to rebuild on their own.

Our Housing Appeal focuses on providing dignified, permanent housing solutions for those affected by wars and earthquakes, helping them rebuild their lives with security and stability.

Pathway Out of Poverty

Lack of proper housing is a major barrier to recovery and economic stability, particularly after a crisis. Families that live in makeshift shelters or damaged homes are often stuck in a cycle of poverty and instability, often without privacy and safety. Providing a proper home gives them a solid foundation to rebuild their lives and futures.

By supporting our Housing Appeal, you help war and disaster victims not only regain shelter but also restore their dignity and hope for the future.

Sakeena Village: Rebuilding Lives in Syria

For years, the widows and orphans affected by the Syrian war and then the 2023 devastating earthquake, have lived in makeshift tents, exposed to extreme weather conditions and lacking basic necessities. Your generosity has allowed us to begin building Sakeena Village near the Syrian-Turkish border, where over a thousand families will soon have homes.
